L’Eau des Hesperides does have a nice bite, and is very much worth a try, especially if you found Oyédo more than you were willing to take on even in cooler weather. L’Eau de Neroli is the "classic cologne" entry in the trio (notes: bergamot, petitgrain, verbena, tarragon, neroli, orange blossom, geranium, beeswax, white musk and cedar). It is a sunny and cheerful citrus, very bright, very wearable, with first the tarragon, and later the beeswax, adding some interest. If I can't think of much to say about it, it is only because a sunny and cheerful citrus is not so very hard to find, but if you're in the market for a summer cologne, this one is worth a shot. I wasn't particularly excited when I first heard about this trio, but they've done a lovely job, and the packaging, as always with Diptyque, is superb.įor my money, I like a hefty dose of oakmoss in my summer cologne so I'll stick with my Eau de Guerlain until they get around to de-oakmoss-ing it, assuming they haven't already done so. I wish they'd done a little coffret like this one, but ah well. Since 2016, First in Fragrance is the official online store of Nägele & Strubell.I'd also be happier if I hadn't recently heard the rumors that Diptyque is axing a rather substantial proportion of their more interesting fragrances (reportedly L'Eau Trois, Virgilio, L’Autre, Eau d’Elide, and Opôné are all goners) - if it turns out to be true, then somehow this trio doesn't seem to have enough "weight" to make up for the loss.ĭiptyque L'Eau de L'Eau, L'Eau des Hesperides & L'Eau de Neroli are available in 200 ml Eau de Cologne, packaged in splash bottles with optional pump spray $150 each. FIRST IN FRANGRANCE has also experienced its share of envy and imitators but we can proudly say that it is and remains – The Original. By joining forces, we will do everything in our power to provide you with only the best in the world of perfumes and beauty. In 2016, a strong alliance was forged with the company Nägele & Strubell to which – in addition to 12 other stationary boutiques in Austria – the famous Viennese boutiques Le Parfum and Kussmund belong. ![]() Wuchsa’s pioneering vision led him to take the plunge anyway, which laid the foundation for what today is the healthy and prosperous company of FIRST IN FRAGRANCE. For many this was either frowned upon or simply inconceivable. At a time when the “everything’s for free” and low-price culture still prevailed, it was difficult to imagine offering the finest luxury products on the internet. Wuchsa recognized the great possibilities offered by an online presentation. In the year 2000 First in Fragrance was founded when, as one of the first, Georg R. Now Diptyque is bringing back the art of Cologne, the universal, fragrant ritual that is so appreciated by connoisseurs.įIRST IN FRAGRANCE – LUXURY PIONEERS – THE ORIGINAL Diptyque is a desire for freshness and Master of the use of the "Vinaigre de Toilette" due to its natural cleansing and toning properties. Daily use is synonymous with freshness and transparency - a real bodily pleasure. The soothing, firming properties of these waters is still, even today, highly valued. It was traded from Italy to Cologne from London to Spain and all the way to Russia and became an integral part of dressing rituals. Over the centuries, kept secret in European monasteries, this admirable and beneficial water, often enriched with a base of citrus and aromatic plants, flourished. Legend has it that an angel brought the recipe for perfumed water, filled with special qualities, to a queen in Central Europe. Sensual, sunny immortelle joins the dance along with a trace of strong cedarwood and delicate white musk that envelop this subtle, wonderfully spicy fragrance. But then comes a sudden storm of surprising, intense, peppery notes of mint that tease the senses and underscore the exquisite aura. The first impression seems like a simple fragrance with citrus top notes of bitter orange, tangerine, lemon and petitgrain, mixed with aromatic herbs, red thyme, and African rosemary. A refreshing, zesty Cologne with a striking green freshness, that also acts subtly provocative - the thrill of a forbidden garden.
